Summary0000333: Any chance you can get this integrated with SnailSVN?
DescriptionSnailSVN is the best SVN client for the Mac. I've asked them if it can support VisualDiffer, but they need someone to contact them to enable it.

All the best,

Here is the website for SnailSVN.

It's on the app store as well.

VisualDiffer allows to be called from other applications, if this isn't enough or if you find problems, tell us

See the documentation at

Sadly it does not work. The developer at SnailSVN sent me an update that now calls VisualDiffer to do the compare. But when VisualDiffer is started, you are prompted to browse for the two files. Strangely, the folders are the ones the two files are in, but you still need to pick the actual files to compare. It's as if VisualDiffer only reads the folder that the files are in, not the full path to the files.

I'd have thought getting VisualDiffer integrated with the main SVN tool on the Mac would be pretty high on your priority list.

This problem seems related to Apple Sandbox, try adding entire directory (eg /Users/) to VisualDiffer trusted path (from the preferences panel)

I will do some test later, you are not alone

That seems to work. I need to add the folder to my source code plus the temporary folder to SnailSVN. Not ideal as I'll need to add a lot of folders, but at least it works!!

Just to be clear, this isn't a VisualDiffer limitation but the Apple sandbox restrictions

You may try to add /var/folders and /Users (a very dirty hack) and maybe you solve the problem forever

Take a look at trusted path documentation, it may help

Maybe you can configure a temp folder in SnailSVN and use it with VD
